Welcome to polishedbybeckie.com. I hope you enjoy your time here!

I'm Beckie. I manage our family-owned self-storage facility. I am also a professional photographer focusing on product photography, and I LOVE all things nail polish (ESPECIALLY nail art)!

I thought this would be a fun place to share my manis and swatches that I do, as well as discussing new favorite colors and brands, and my ever-growing polish collection! I mean, hey, I could have worse addictions, right? ;-)

[hand + nail nutrition] by Glisten & Glow | Indie Product Review

**this product is a press sample and was sent to me to swatch and give my honest review**

Today I want to share with you an amazing product called [hand + nail nutrition] by Jill of  Glisten & Glow.

This cream is a non-greasy hand and nail hydration treatment, and it works wonders! I have been using it 3-4 times a day for nearly 6 days now, and my skin feels wonderful! My cuticles, especially!

It currently comes in unscented and sangria white peach, as well as two different sizes; .5 oz and 2 oz.

My before & after photos don’t show a major difference, but I promise there is one, especially on the cuticles on my right hand; not just in appearance, but in the way my skin feels and the way it has been hydrated! I’ll say it again, this cream is amazing!! (pardon my swollen, arthritic knuckles)

Go order yours today at Glisten & Glow HERE

You can find Glisten & Glow on Instagram, Facebook, and visit Jill’s shop HERE.

The Walking Dead 2017 by Native War Paints | Indie Polish Review

**this product is a press sample and was sent to me to swatch and give my honest review**

Today I am sharing with you The Walking Dead inspired collection by Native War Paints. It includes 8 polishes with varying finishes, colors, and names that make this collection a must-have for any TWD fan! Launch day is Friday, October 13th, at Noon EDT in the NWP shop.

Let’s show you some pictures and swatches!

[extra crispy walkers 2.0] $11; a black jelly base filled with chameleon shifting glitter, orange glitter shreds, and scattered holographic glitter. I used two coats and top coat for my swatch. This is a perfect Halloween polish! (the lighting in my swatch pictures is making it look more brown, but it really is black!)

[rotten zombie flesh 2.0] $11; a shimmery olive green packed with holographic sparkle. I LOVE this green, and you don’t hear me say that very often about greens! I used two coats and top coat for my swatch. Gorgeous!

[you got no guts] $9; a dusty red with blue shimmer. I used two coats and top coat for my swatch. Another beautiful color. Vampy even. I love it!

[beach ball sized lady nuts] $10; a blue to tan thermal with green and bronze flakes. I used two coats and top coat for my swatch. My house was very warm when I was swatching so I had a difficult time capturing the transition on this one, but it is beautiful.

[i am negan] $9; a dark grey with red, orange and yellow shifty shimmer. I used two coats and top coat for my swatch. I like this one a lot, though I had a hard time capturing the shift in the shimmer.

[trash people] $10; a red leaning brown with ultra chrome chameleon flakes along with bronze, gold, and green flakes. This one is Fall in a bottle! I’m in love!! Two coats and top coat for my swatch.

[the hilltop] $9; a murky green with red shimmer and green flecks. I used two coats and top coat for my swatch. Another nice shade for Fall.

[the kingdom] $10; a peachy nude crelly with ultra chrome chameleon flakes along with taupe, violet, red, orange, and bronze flakes and copper shimmer. I think this is my personal favorite from this collection, just because I love unique nude polishes so much! I used two coats and top coat for my swatch.

Are there any must-haves for you? These are all great polishes!

Once again, launch day is Friday, October 13th, at Noon EDT in the NWP shop.

You can find Native War Paints on Instagram and Facebook, and you can visit their shop HERE.

So, let’s get to the pictures already! 😛

[eye candy] $16; a gorgeous blue micro glitter. I used two coats and top coat for my swatch. These micro glitters have such dimension! I really love this one! And you know me and blues.

[vamper tantrum] $16; another micro glitter. This one up close is black and red, but when you pull back, it has a vampy, deep, maroon shade to it. So gorgeous! I used two coats and top coat for my swatch.

[new O.G.] $16; this one is a glitter topper with various black and white glitters in it as well as a gorgeous violet shimmer. I used this over [fleshed out]. This is a fun topper! I love the little bat glitters! They’re so cute!

[fleshed out] $16; a gorgeous shimmery, champagne nude full of holographic sparkle! My favorite kind of nude polish! <makes googly eyes like crazy at this one> I used two coats and top coat for my swatch.

[red ahead] $16; a luscious red sparkle with red round glitters. I used two coats and top coat for my swatch. A great shade for a Halloween mani!

[you name it!] $16; a super fun glitter topper full of various shapes, colors, and sizes of glitters. I used it over [eye candy] for my swatch. So fun!

Next up, I have a fun Limited Edition glitter topper to show you. This beauty will be $20, and it comes with a little packet of loose glitter that you can use for glitter placement, or whatever else you want.

[ghosted] $20; another fun glitter topper with holographic sparkle and various colors and shapes of glitters in it. I used it over [vamper tantrum] for my swatch.

OOAKs by Lynderella | Indie Polish Review

**this product is a press sample and was sent to me to swatch and give my honest review**

A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by Paul, from Lynderella, and was asked if I would do a feature on some of their one-of-a-kind polishes. I had heard of Lynderella before, but never really seen any of their polishes. Boy are they beautiful! And they must’ve stalked my blog, and learned what my favorite colors were, because they sent me a couple purples, a turquoise, and a gorgeous black! So let’s get to the pictures, and then I’ll tell you where you can get some of your own Lynderella beauties!

I love the hand-drawn labels on these OOAK polishes! They don’t have names, just hand-drawn labels. They’re so fun!

For this first one, I used two coats and top coat for my swatch. I love the little ultra-chrome flakies in it! They add some extra flare to the micro glitters!

Next up is this fun turquoise with holographic sparkle. I used two coats and top coat for my swatch. This one has a glowy effect (does not actually glow, but has an amazing shine like it glows).

This next one is a deep rose glitter in a purple jelly. I used two coats and top coat for my swatch. I got pretty good coverage with two coats. There are a few different types of glitter in this one, and some holographic glitter as well, giving it that extra wow factor!

And this last one happens to be my favorite! There is just something about this lavender ultra micro glitter with holo (I think there are even some purple micro flakies in there) that melts my heart. It has an absolutely amazing sparkle when the light hits it that reminds me of diamonds, and well, I like diamonds! 😛 I used two super easy coats and top coat for my swatch.

What do you think of these OOAK beauties? Gorgeous, right!?! If you’d like to get some OOAKs (or some of their other polishes) of your own, Here are the links to the various Lynderella shops…
